 Artist Spotlights Part 2

Here is another shout out to more of the artists who have helped make this campaign so successful by contributing such amazing cover art! They too were a pleasure to work with, and I also can't thank them enough for the gorgeous art that they've produced for me! I hope you enjoy learning more about these awesome artists and their amazing work!

Conor Hughes's breakout work has been the popular Kickstarter comic White Ash. Previous to that he was one of the winners of the Millarworld art contest as well as being published in the Anthology Graphic Canon and Twisted Savage Dragon Funnies. You can troll him on twitch where he can often be found making comics as well as Hopewell NJ, with his amazing wife and giggle monster baby girl. Conor is the artist of a new limited variant cover of Night Wolf Issue 4.

Sean Forney is an eighteen year professional illustrator/comic book artist currently working on cover art for Lady Death (Coffin Comics), Marvel Premier sketch cards (Upper Deck), DudeBro (Spicy Pulp Comics), Lyaxia (Alcyone Studios), and his creator-owned comic Scarlet Huntress. Sean also works as a colorist for Counterpoint Comics for multiple titles including Tiggomverse, Hardlee Thinn, Notti & Nyce, Savage Eve, and Do You Pooh? Published cover work includes Vampirella Red Sonja (Dynamite), Totally Rad Wars (Totally Rad), Pestilence (Aftershock), Franklin & Ghost (SourcePoint Press), Bloodstrike (Image), Go West (Alterna), TMNT (IDW), and Back to the Future (IDW). Cover and interior work can be seen in Lark’s Killer, Black Flame Archives, Lord of Gore, and Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (Devil’s Due/1First), Delta Dawn (Corgi Press), and multiple titles for Zenescope Entertainment. Sean has also worked on commercial art for Tire Discounters, Red Roof Inn, Cut the Rope (Titan Publishing), Lego, Inc., My Adventures with Spider-Man (Marvel/Identity Direct), and the Bakugan toy line for Spin Master. Sean co-created and self-publishes the Scarlet Huntress series. is the artist of the new limited homage to John Byrne's X-Men 141 variant cover of Night Wolf Issue 2.

Matthew Dow Smith is an American comic book artist with more than 25 years experience making comics for everyone from DC and Marvel to Dark Horse and IDW Publishing. He recently started doing his own comic book stories and posting them for people to read for free on social media. This new project is a series of autobiographical short stories first, and then a serialized comic called JOHNNY CHAOS. Matthew is the artist of a new limited Kickstarter Exclusive variant cover of Night Wolf Issue 4.

Artist Spotlights Part 1

So I thought I would do something different this update. I want to give a shout out to some of the artists who have helped make this campaign so successful by contributing such amazing cover art! They were all a pleasure to work with, and I can't thank them enough for the gorgeous art that they've produced for me! I hope you enjoy learning more about these awesome artists and their amazing work! 

Dirk I. Tiede works as a professional artist, illustrator and teacher in the Boston area. He holds a BFA in commercial art from Millikin University, and has been drawing comics for as long as he can remember. Paradigm Shift is his labor of love, his magnum opus. He began it as an online comic in 1999, and was a founding contributor to premium comics portal ModernTales.com. His artwork has been showcased in the books Toon Art: The Graphic Art of Digital Cartooning and Webcomics, appeared the documentary Adventures In Digital Comics, and was featured in Season 3 of NBC’s Heroes. Dirk is the artist of a new limited variant cover of Night Wolf Issue 4.

Joseph Schmalke is a comics creator, writer, and illustrator residing in Westbrook, Maine. Joe is the writer/artist on several horror comics— including THE ELECTRIC BLACK, THE CALAMITOUS BLACK DEVILS, THE INFERNAL PACT, and CHERRY BLACKBIRD. He is also the writer and co-creator of the role-playing dark comedy MURDER HOBO. A lifelong lover of comic books and horror movies, he has worked behind the scenes in film and tv but has always focused on making the type of books that he loves to read— full of dark humor and dark themes. You can find his work featured on variant covers for Image comics, Boom! studios, Vault comics, IDW, Mad Cave, and Scout comics.  You will also find his artwork on Exclusive Marvel and FYE t-shirts, Super 7 /Killer Bootlegs’ card art, and A Sound of Thunder’s IT WAS METAL graphic novel anthology. Joseph is the artist of the new limited variant cover of Night Wolf Issue 1.

Chris Williams is a comic artist, writer and creator. After earning his BA in Animation & Media Arts in 2008 from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Chris has sold many commissioned & contracted works locally and internationally. Some of his notable published works include cover art for Big Dog Ink (BDI)'s "Critter" & "Penny For Your Soul", Kenzer & Co.'s “Knights of The Dinner Table”, Markosia's "Geek-Girl", Source Point Press' "Salvagers" & "Franklin & Ghost", as well as promotional art for award-winning photographer, Nick Saglimbeni and his SlickForce Girl site. Chris is currently working on his creator owned comic series, "SUMMONS", among other upcoming indie titles. Chris is the illustrator of the Keystone Comic Con exclusive cover of Night Wolf Issue 1 and the rare variant cover for Night Wolf Issue 4.
