Last but certainly not least, I asked your opinions on when I should launch the Night Wolf Issue 5 Kickstarter campaign. As you know, I have been planning to launch the next Kickstarter once Night Wolf Issue 5 is 100% done, but the Night Wolf Volume 1 trade paperbacks won't be in from the printers until sometime in May. Well, I asked when would you back the Kickstarter, and the majority of you answered, "Anytime because I want the next issueASAP!" However, there were quite a few of you who voted to wait until after the Night Wolf Volume1Kickstarter has been fulfilled, so I thought comprise might be in order. Therefore, I am officially launching the Night Wolf Issue 5 Kickstarter campaign on the morning of May 19th, which is over a month behind when I was originally planning to launch. Click here to visit the prelaunch page and hit the "Notify me on launch" button if you haven't already.
The good news is that last Tuesday I received an email from my printer rep, Sam, stating that the Night Wolf Volume 1 trade paperbacks will be done at the end of April. She also mentioned that at the time she was already working on coordinating the shipment from China to my front porch. However, I haven't heard anything from her this week, and this doesn't guarantee exactly when the shipment will arrive, so there is still a chance that I might be launching before I have finished fulfilling my last Kickstarter. However, there is a lot that goes into planning a Kickstarter campaign that affects more than just my personal schedule. Once I set a launch date and make arrangements with third parties for promotion and production, it becomes difficult to change the date. I have to respect the time of the reviewers, interviewers, news outlets, etc. who might be willing to help promote the projects. I also have to be respectful of my artists' time who depend on projects like mine to make a living. Of course, I also have to be respectful of your time as well, and the as the survey has shown me that the majority of you are ready for the next issue to come out. Since you called for it, the train is in motion and we are going full-steam ahead.
I hope that my prior deliver-ability track record from my other single issue campaigns has earned your trust. It means so much to me that you have taken this creative journey with me so far, and I hope that you will trust me once again for the next leg of that journey. The trade paperback was a whole new experience that I now know more about, and will be able to plan better for the Volume 2 campaign after Night Wolf Issue 8 has been published.

Good afternoon my Wolf Pack! I hope you are having a great start to your week!
Yesterday, I sent out an update to the Night Wolf Volume 1 Kickstarter pack members informing them that my printer rep, Sam, estimates that the books won't be ready to ship from the printer until the end of April. The reason being is that a custom book like the die cut hard cover is going to take more time and attention. Since the Night Wolf Volume 1 trade paperback fulfillment is behind schedule, it is also throwing off my Night Wolf Issue 5 (a Spring launch) and Snow Paw Issue 1 (a Summer launch) Kickstarter dates as well. If you recall from my last update the Night Wolf Issue 5 prelaunch page is already live, and the issue is almost finished. Below is a Wolf Pack member exclusive sneak peek of the finished Night Wolf Issue 5 cover by Carlos Herrera! As you can imagine from seeing this amazing cover, I am super excited to get this book out into your hands as soon as possible.
Which leads me to some hard decisions that I have to make. Do I launch before the trades come in, launch while I am fulfilling the trades, or launch right after I finish the trade fulfillment? Since I use a different domestic printer for my single issues I could potentially have this issue printed and delivered around the same time as the Night Wolf Volume 1 and fulfill them together, if I launch the Night Wolf Issue 5 Kickstarter by the end of April. However, I wouldn't do that unless you were onboard with that decision. I sent a survey to the Night Wolf Volume 1 pack members asking their opinions, but I also want to know your thoughts on the matter as well, because I respect your opinions too. Therefore, I set up a Google Forms survey to get your thoughts on shipping and handle your Night Wolf 1-4 Kickstarter rewards, new rewards just for you, new apparel choices, when I should launch the Night Wolf Issue 5 Kickstarter, and more.
